TRIZ TRIZ is the backbone of the services provided by Technical Innovation Center. After coming to America in 1973, Lev Shulyak dreamed of sharing the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving as developed by Genrikh Altshuller, the founder of TRIZ. To this end, Lev partnered up with Richard Langevin to establish Technical Innovation Center. The purpose of enabling the use of TRIZ has continued to drive Technical Innovation Center to this day. It is the firm belief of TIC that TRIZ can benefit everyone who solves even the simplest of problems in their day-to-day life. We promote this belief with a helpful comparison to the various levels of writing and math in the Who needs TRIZ? section. To find out more about the theory, read What is TRIZ, or read History to learn about its Russian roots. If you're interested in the man behind the science, please browse the various sections about Genrikh Altshuller. We have provided Tributes written after this death in 1998 by a few supporters of TRIZ. Additionally, we have held onto a transcript of our Interview with Mr. Altshuller right before he passed on and a Communique he wrote to all TRIZ users towards the end of his life. |
